1.4307 blank drawn h9

Austenitic low-carbon austenitic chromium-nickel steel
Lowering the carbon content to very low values has nearly allitanium stabilized 1.4307
Grades of type 1.4541 replaced. The resistance to intergranular corrosion is compared to
the titanium-stabilized grades are equivalent and the material is not of knife-edge corrosion
affected. In contrast to the titanium-stabilized grades, 1.4307 has a better surface
and can be both mechanically and electropolished. Due to the lack of titanium
and the resulting precipitates, 1.4307 is much better spanbar, which
also expressed in higher cutting speeds and longer tool life.
